After a whole month I have finally worked up the enthusiasm to finish the drawing.

I decided I really wanted to do a good job of a drawing considering I had recently recieved new drawing supplies for my birthday. And seeing as how it has been a long time since I've actually done a basic pencil drawing I decided to start one. I had been listening to alot of Hilary Duff so I thought "why not?". Haha, you know why that is funny? Because I just realised "Why not?" was one of Hilary Duff's songs... don't you just love coincidences like that? Anyway im getting off track.

When I started the drawing I found myself spending ridiculous amounts of time doing small intracite details so I sped it up and I found that suprisingly when you work faster and aren't so concerned about how it's looking you make less mistakes because your not so stressed. While drawing I discovered something else that would probably be valuable to someone thinking about doing this. Okay so its NOT a good idea to use charcol over the top of pencil especially when creating eyelashes or hair because the two different textures clash and turn ugly. Now, im sure theres heaps of you going... 'Nah Du'h?!" but im learning so yeah ignore my ignorance .
